The End is a podcast where a guest brings their favourite (or least favourite) ending to discuss. We'll discuss any ending except Game of Thrones.
Discussions aren't so much about the ending itself, but about what it means to our guest, and the life context that gave meaning to the ending for them.

Ian and Joel have written several works together, and continue to collaborate on writing, editing, and engaging with Melbourne's literary sector.
Speculate Literary Festival
The original Speculate Festival ran from 2018-2019 in Melbourne, Australia. It successfully sold out both years, including all workshops, author sessions, and education programs.
The festival entered indefinite hiatus as a result of Melbourne’s 2020 Covid lockdowns, but continues today in partnership with RMIT University through the Speculate Prize for Emerging Writers.

The Morning Bell Podcast
2012 - 2019
The Morning Bell was a pioneering podcast featuring interviews with established and emerging authors around Australia. Guests included Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff, C.S. Pacat, and many more.
Recorded live at the Brunswick Street Bookstore, The Morning Bell was hosted by Ian, Joel, Luke, and Dionne. It launched the Speculate Literary Festival, and became one of the world's leading literary podcasts.
The podcast concluded after 104 episodes with an audience of thousands around the world, and a wide following amongst fans of genre and literary fiction.
